THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING FLASH CARD MEDIA IN VOCABULARY MASTERY AT NINTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SMPN 35 SINJAI

This research used saturated sampling
technique so the sampel of the research, there are 32 students
of IX A and 32 students of IX B. Therefore, there were 64
students in each class. In collecting data, researchers used test
and documentation. While the data analysis used descriptive
statistics. that score at pre-test experiment mean was 69,09,
median 70,00, mode was 70, standar Deviation was 6,002
minimum was 56 maximum 79. score at post-test experiment
mean was 85,13, median was 85,13, mode was 85,00,
minimum was 80, maximum was 92, standar deviation 3,471.
Pre-test control mean was 68,38, median 69,50, mode was 70,
standar deviation 7,636, minimum was 55 maximum 84.
Score at post-test control median 79,00, mode was 79, standar
deviation 5,529, minimum was 67, maximum was 90, mean
was 79,41. Paired Samples Test, it is known that the value of
Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.00 < 0.05, then (Ho) is rejected and (Ha) is
accepted. So it can be concluded that there is The use of using
flash card media is effective in vocabulary mastery at Ninth
grade students of SMPN 35 Sinjai.
