The results of the research indicate that, first, the Busuu application is effective in teaching vocabulary to class VII-4 students of UPTD SMPN 7 Sinjai. This is concluded based on the results of the Paired Sample T-Test, which obtained a significance result of 0.000 less than 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted or in other words that the use of the Busuu application is effective in learning English. In addition, the results of the N-Gain score test in the study obtained an N-Gain value of 0.57 or in the N-Gain percentage of 57%. The value of the N-Gain test results is in the second interval, namely gain is greater than or equal to 0,30 and less than or equal to 0,70Thus, the student's score is included in the fairly effective category. Second, from the results of the descriptive statistical analysis of the pretest and posttest, there were changes in the form of an increase from before students were given treatment using the Busuu application in teaching vocabulary which can be seen from the average value in the pretest of 45.17 to the posttest of 73.62 in class VII-4 students of UPTD SMPN 7 Sinjai.
